That should not be a big surprise since every nation has their own standard of living, concepts on insurance, and the style of car that most people drive. In America it’s the big expensive car, in Milano, Europe it’s the small Smart Car.
According to research carried out by a price comparison website, the most expensive areas in the country to insure your car are London. England.
New drivers are hit the hardest by insurance companies, with premiums for the inexperienced driver being the highest. I am a witness to that having paid for four sons and one daughter’s insurance. I was always happy when they turned 25!
Car insurers use your zip code to evaluate the likelihood of your car being vandalized or stolen. If, for example, you live in an inner city area then your car insurance premium will be higher than someone living in a rural area, because crime rate levels are higher in cities. If you’re living in Hosuton as I do, you’ll pay a lot more if you live in Harris County than if you lived in one of the adjoining counties.
